Dragging tiddler title gives a link, but dragging journal tiddler does not?

Hi,

I just noticed that if I drag & drop a tiddler from its title (set to link from settings) to the edit area, I will get a link "[[tiddler]]" but if I do the same for journal tiddler, then I do not get a link. Just "tiddler" with no brackets. I tried to find a setting for this but could not. Is there a place where I can change the behaviour to always give me a bracketed link?

Hi,

The brackets are only included for tiddler titles with spaces. If you drag a tiddler named: test ... It won't get braces.

Ah dammit, that seems to be it. I was hoping I could've linked everything by drag and dropping. Thanks for the info.

If you drag the link - select the link text - SHIFT-ALT-L is the keyboard shortcut to cover the text selection into a link. See the toolbar button tooltips.

IMO that's the fastest way to do it.

Yeah that's how I've been doing in. It just means a couple extra keystrokes. Nothing major, was just hoping to only use drag & drop.
