[TW5][TWC] Host your TiddlyWiki on Google Drive

Hi,

I've been asleep a few years with all the fun TiddlyWiki goings on, but have recently awoke to TW5 beta.

I'm really digging the drag and drop of content i/o TW5 (RIP TiddlySnip) and playing around with mobile syncing with Dropbox.

In the midst of tinkering, i found that Google Drive now is handy for hosting:

where that long hashy bit is unique to your public Google Drive tiddlywiki.html asset.

You can drag that [[Host TiddlyWiki on GoogleDrive]] tiddler into your TW5 like magico.

Hi Tony,

Just read your post and noticed that, of course, editing a tw5 on a google drive is much easier than you describe, i.e. assuming you use the google drive desktop client to edit your locally synchronized copy, preferably in Firefox with TiddlyFox.

Yes, I've tested it last month with success, but for my need it was impossible beaucause you must set your share to public (it was for a work project, so I can't publish it public ^^').

A friend wanted information about host web pages with Google Drive, and FYI I just see :

Announcement: This will not be available after August 31, 2016

You can continue to use this feature until August 31st, 2016, but after that, googledrive.com/host/ID will no longer work.
