Originally, I just wanted to share my own TiddlyWiki theme and color palette with you. Since there are some changes that may not be to everyone’s liking, I wanted to make most things optional. This work has evolved until the theme itself is actually just a framework-like solution that allows the use of optional stylesheet components, and the "in-theme theme" is the sum of these components and their settings.

I think this solution is flexible enough to even be included in the core. What do you think about this?

Very nicely organized and love the flexibility.

Just an FYI that it is planned to introduce a new alternative flexbox based layout for the core after 5.1.23.
There might be potential there for incorporating or at least learning from  some aspects of your approach.
Cheers,
Saq

Added to the toolmap, both the color palette and the theme, in their respective categories.

This is really cool! I like the theme's as well.
On chrome with 1980x1080 resolution, the sidebar is half out of view.  This is fixed when I change the module to 'flat'. I tried messing with some of the settings and modules, but couldn't find a way to fix it on 'woody'.

You should decrease the story width in $:/ControlPanel -> Appereance -> Modular theme -> Component configurations -> Centralise story river which is defaults to "1200px", try to set to "900px" for example.

Saq,

I saw the issue (https://github.com/Jermolene/TiddlyWiki5/issues/4473 if I'm right) and I think it would be good to "distribute" site components like Modular does with stylesheet components.

@bimlas that is the correct issue. I highly suggest you to post on that issue and share the ideas behind Modular.

Bimlas;
This is fantastic; feels I have much greater control over the theme process!

One question: The right hand sidebar goes all the way to the right of the browser window (see pic) is there a way to put a margin on the right side by CSS or other adjustment.2020-12-10 10_30_27-DraftToR-ProjectDevExpert-Budget.docx - Protected View - Word.png

Ciao Bimlas

Visual idea GOOD. Needs tweaking to sense screen visual port size.

On a Win tablet just opening it in latest Chrome I see the right menu truncated ...

odin...@gmail.com, danraymond, TiddlyTweeter,

Sorry for the late fix, I hope it works well now. All you have to do is import this tiddler into your own wikis (click on "Export tiddler" from the dropdown menu and drop the file to your wikis) to get the fix included: https://bimlas.gitlab.io/tw5-modular-theme-maple-palette/#%24%3A%2Fbimlas%2Fmodular-components%2Fcentralised
