$select widget formatting

The current $select-widget creates a drop down list which the padding/margin of items is two wide!

How it is possible to format this list in Tiddlywiki for example adjust the margin/padding or font?

I'd say this is not really a TW matter. I believe TW uses the native HTML element for this so I'd do a search for e.g "css style select option" or some such.

That's true!

It seems I can set classes for option but cannot decrease the height or padding/margin from what is set!
