Hi,

Everyday when I start my TW I need to enter my name under "Options"
and uncheck "Backup" and check "Autosave". Has this to do with the
other problems when you try to import plugins from another TW online?

By default, these settings are stored in cookies, maybe you configured
your browser to not keep cookies?

Some browsers may need a special configuration to keep cookies for
files.

What I do is bake these settings into the SystemSettings tiddler - I
distribute my TWs to lots of computers via dropbox, and re-configuring
browser got old pretty fast. To do this you create a tiddler called
"SystemSettings" and put Key: Value pairs in it (do not tag this as
systemConfig btw - its not a plugin).

Example:
chkAnimate: false
chkAutoSave: true
chkSaveBackups: true
txtBackupFolder: twbackups
txtUserName: whatever

Search Eric's tiddlytools.com site for "cookies" related plugins if you'd rather save your config data in the TW file itself.

This worked great for me too using Chrome. My settings wouldn't
stick.
They do now by adding this tiddler as he described.
Thanks.
