I’ve just launched the new website for Federatial, the little company I founded for consultancy work. It’s a static HTML file that was generated by TiddlyWiki. It works perfectly without JavaScript, but if it is enabled adds scroll effects from a new plugin I’ve created called ScrollFlyer.

The scroll effect is intended to provide a summary of the overall page when you first arrive, that then melts into the conventional page layout as you scroll.

The full wiki is available at:

Try changing the content, open the “Tools” tab in the sidebar, click “export all” and then choose “Single Page Website” to generate the static HTML site.

The source code is available on GitHub:

The bits and pieces on GitHub are available for reuse, but I do plan to make things more re-usable, packaging everything up as part of a new static site generation plugin.

Any questions, please ask.

Best wishes

Jeremy

Ha! That certainly brought a smile to my face!!! Cool and provocative :-D

Regarding [not] typing explicit email addresses, might transclusions perhaps be useful?

Kudos! Fantastic presentation & micro site.
Will dig some to figure out your workflow &
how exactly you implemented that effect. :-)

Best wishes,

Tobias.

I would like to print a series of tiddlers but would like to insert some page breaks that would produce chapters. Can I do that simply?

Hi Jeremy,
Nice effect! ... but for me the background color really hurts.

Hi Jeremy.
Awesome. Awesome. Awesome. Not only does it look great. It renders exports quickly as you expressed. In my directory-site project THIS "Federatial" format provides a clean, vibrant option for exporting existing content as a "chaptered" 1 page website for clients ( contrasting the single page export available from the "standard" TW 1 tiddler export). Just love it (and the timing) thank you.JN

Thank you for the comments! I was quite pleased with the retina-burning yellow background; the site is not going to be visited very often so it might as well be memorable.

Best wishes

Jeremy

Hi Jeremy,
I just stumbled upon the federatial.com site.
A really stunning showcase to demonstrate the power of TW.
Searching how the magic is done I remarked that https://federatial.com/wiki.html seems to be offline.
I would love to see how this is made!

Best Wishes and admiration!

Hi Jan

Many thanks! The source wiki is now at:

I really should pull out the templates to make them easier to reuse...

Best wishes

Hi Jeremy,
that would be great. This would be a terrific eye-candy for demonstrating the concept off Tiddlers when introducing new projects.
It would be great to have it as a template...I could not figure out how the effect can be triggered in https://xememex.com/federatial/...

Best wishes Jan

Hi Jeremy
This is really amazing.
It is Tiddlywiki in production.
One question,
When I change the palette, in production I get some circles in background for produced webpage?! How can I remove them

Those background circles are in a tiddler $:/_PageHeading that you’ll want to remove or modify.

Best wishes

Jeremy.

Hi Jeremy,
This is a very convenient workflow to create a site.
But working with the single-file-wiki I see what luxury TiddlyWiki furnishes by making it possible to oben previously hidden content in the storyriver...
Is it possible to use/transform this vibrant eye-candy into a plugin?

Best Wishes Jan
