Hi,

I've tried to upgrade my tiddlywiki (2.6.3) to the last one, regarding
the upgrade problem mention on the site, but when trying with firefox
7 / chrome 14 / chromium 14, with the new and old tiddly in same
directory, and in different directories, but it keeps import 0
tiddlers... it sees 0 tiddlers before importing. I'm on mac snow-
leopard.
Did anyone experienced same problem ? what should I do ?
The last version seems to be 2.6.5, maybe I can try with 2.6.4, but
can't find it. Do you think it can solves the problem ?
Thx anyway for your time !

I've tried on linux with firefox 3.6 and old and new tiddly in same directory....and that works.
So I suppose there's a problem somewhere with macOSX or firefox >3.6...
Sorry, no more info about this...

I've confirmed this.
There are various problems around this and new versions of browsers
which do not have clear solutions.

The problem with Firefox seems to be a bug somewhere in the code base
(possibly changed since Firefox updated to 7)
This can be worked around like so:
1) Where it says "Enter the URL or pathname here" copy and paste the
current address in your address bar e.g. on mine I have
file:///Users/jonrobson/tmp/empty.html
2) Where old_tiddlywiki.html is the name of the file you want to
import to, substitute the current file name with the file you want to
import to e.g. file:///Users/jonrobson/tmp/empty.html ->
file:///Users/jonrobson/tmp/old_tiddlywiki.html
3) Click import

Hopefully this will work and you will have a newly upgrade tiddlywiki

I've created a ticket to address this bug - https://github.com/TiddlyWiki/tiddlywiki/issues/64
