Hey Mohammad,

I love your RefNotes plugin and am wondering about a couple of things.

I would like to have "Footnotes:" appear at the beginning of the footnotes list when I use showfnotes. But I don't want that to show if there are no footnotes. For example, if there are 3 footnotes then the output would look something like this:

Footnotes:

1. blah blah blah

2. more of the same

3. and I think that's the end.

But if there are no footnotes in the tiddler, then I would like to not have the "Footnotes:" appear. I've been trying many different things, but haven't been able to figure it out yet.

Also, I was wondering if there was a way to handle more than one footnote for the same sentence. Meaning there would be two or more superscript numerals separated by commas. Is that possible?

Thanks,

Damon

Damen,
 A ticked has been created. I will notify you as soon as I added this feature!

Please let me know if there is other issues or feature request.

Hi Damon,

I thought something like that:

JSON:

{

"created": "",

"creator": "",

"text": "
<<showfnotes>>",

"title": "Template - showfnotes",

"tags": "
$:/tags/ViewTemplate",

"modifier": "",

"modified": "",

"list-after": "
$:/core/ui/ViewTemplate/body"
}

Greetings!

Manoel

Mohammad,

I just figured out a way to get the "Footnotes:" to look the way I want. I just used the html <details> tag and it works beautifully.

Good!
 That is correct!  Also a $list widget to check if any footnote is exist can work!

Cheers

This has been addressed in Refnotes 1.6.2 beta

Use something like this

<<fnote "This is fornote one">>^^,^^ <<fnote "This is footnote two">>

It is possible to implement multiple footnotes macro, but I am afraid it gets too complicated! The above solutions work seamlessly now!

Thanks,

Damon

I have added this as an example to Refnotes 1.6.3 beta!
Thank you for your tip!

Hi Damon,
 They are clickable. Tap on the citation if you are on touch screen or hove the mouse (other screen)
 a tooltip shows the author-year-title, autor is clickable and take you to the bibtex entry (bibliography tiddler)

Best wishes
Mohammad

Hello Mohammad,

I've been using the footnotes feature of refnotes exclusively, but not the refs feature. In looking through your examples, it appears that the references that appear are not clickable to take you to that bibtex entry. Is there an option to do this either with the refs macro or the showrefs macro?

Thanks,

Damon
