reordering on-screen tiddlers

Can I reorder on-screen tiddlers - I'd like an up and down button to move them up or down in

the display order.

Then I'd like to save a "view" - ie having ordered the tiddlers I'd like to dump the order information into a new

tiddler so I could recover the order later.

There is no "up and down" button in the default installation. However, you can reorder tiddlers via drag and drop in the "Open" tab in the sidebar: https://tiddlywiki.com/#Drag%20and%20Drop

You can drag and drop the tiddler titles in the “Open” tab of the sidebar to reorder them.

Then I'd like to save a "view" - ie having ordered the tiddlers I'd like to dump the order information into a new

tiddler so I could recover the order later.

The current story river is tracked in the “list” field of a tiddler called $:/StoryList. Tools like Stef’s story picker just reach into that tiddler to do their stuff.
