I've just installed Andtidwiki on my samsung galaxy s4. From what I understand uptil now AndTidWiki can access TW files lying in its local folder andtidwiki. Is it possible to sync these files via dropbox? If so how?

Thanks in advance.

It may be worth asking the AndTidWiki developer directly:

Best wishes

The TW file doesn't necessarily have to be in the AndTidWiki folder.  If you open the android Dropbox app and navigate to a TW file, then when you tap the file name, the "open file with" list should include AndTidWiki (and once you're in AndTidWiki, saving the file should update it).
Does that help?

Hi, seem to be possible !!
this may help from the developper site (Forum)...

A little hint for everyone…

It took me a while to figure it out but it seems I can now fully automatically (min synch interval every 15min) replicate my wiki between android phone, notebook and online dropbox. Means full read/write access to it at any time from any place. Neat.

1) install AndTidWiki
2) move wiki file to SD card\dropbox
3) on android home screen (not in AndTidWiki) add shortcut; you will find AndTidWiki listed and can then choose the very file it should open
4) Install Dropbox app
5) install app “Ordner mit Dropbox synchen” (costs 50 cents)
6) install app “Wolschons Dropbox Konten”
7) configure “Ordner mit Dropbox synchen” so that it points to the dropbox directory you want to keep in synch

Note: The author (Marcus Wolschon) is stating very clearly that his app is in beta and as the synch tool is permitted to delete files using the app is at your own risk

I understand that AndTidWiki can be loaded with any single file.
I understand how you access a .html file on dropbox in the way you describe.
I presume it dynamically downloads the file into a scratch/tmp folder and uploads it again when done.
All well and good.

However I make use of a plugin/macro that allows the tiddlers & plugins of another file _in_ _the_ _same_ _folder_ to be used as if they ere part of the the file being used.

This isn't a problem in "real mode".  I just CD to the relevant directory/folder and start Firefox :-)

But I can't see how this can be made to wok with this single file approach of AndTidWiki and the mode you describe.

The only thing I can think of is to repeatedly download and upload, manuall, the whole set of files.

Why am I doing this?

I am writing a story cycle that uses the same characters/locations.
One Wiki had all that information, and the character descriptions and location descriptions need also to to be updated along the timeline of the stories.
Each story is a separate wiki.  Each story has its own context & theme, chapters and scenes.   Not all stories use all characters or scenes.
The "Master" is the "Bible" for the story cycle to ensure consistency and continuity.

A (derived) example of this kind of 'concordance' can be seen at
