Hi Mario

I experimented finally with your uni-link macro today.  VERY nice and much-needed!

Then I experimented exporting as static html's the three tiddlers I created, and uploading them. See here for the tiddler with links to the other two. http://giffmex.org/experiments/Love (an overview).html

As you can see, the links go nowhere, and in fact are links to what would be anchors in the same webpage.

I am wondering if the uni-link macro could be tweaked, or probably more to the point, if a similar 'for-statics-only' version of the macro could be created, so that when publishing the tiddlers as statics, the pages link to each other if they are kept in the same folder?

This would greatly simply the process of using TW to publish statics to the web. One stand-alone TW could generate a large number of mutually-referencing htmls.

I am not sure what that would entail. I am just curious if it is possible. Blessings.

Hi David,

Thank you for your feedback. ... That's a usecase I didn't test. .. Static page export uses special templates, to create static links. ...

The plugin has no code at the moment, that covers this usecase. .. So I'll have to have a closer look.

Hi Dave,

How did you create the demo page?

If  you create a similar configuration with links from tiddlywiki.com ... does it work there?

I created a standalone and exported each tiddler separately as a static html.

OK. Thx for testing. .. Then it's a general problem... So we probably will need to have a closer look in TW too. ....

I did create a github issue, so it's not forgotten.. but if it takes too long, till you here from me or others .... just bump the issue ;)

Thanks Mario. I have a feeling node.js is the only way to do this.

Hi David,
Sorry for the delayed response. ...

 - If you export single tiddlers within a file TW, links are created as anchors. ... As you found out.
 - If you export all tiddlers with a tiddlywiki editions/xxx --build static command, links are created with href setting that you expected.

have fun!
