Hi all

I created a TiddlyWiki to document some of the solutions I have created myself / discovered / been given by others. It is not done yet, and I may need to wait until next week to finish it, but I have a pretty good start. Mario spotted this link buried in another thread. But others might not have seen it.

My reasons for creating this file are

1) have a handy place to find the solutions I forget how to do
2) have a handy place to link to when others ask me about specific problems
3) share tools others might find useful
4) inspire someone serendipitously to come up with their own solutions and tools

I do not have the goal of documenting EVERYTHING imaginable. And I am not taking requests! I probably don't know the answer to your question :-) This is just a modest personal project that might be of benefit to others. Hope it is helpful.

Blessings

David,

Thanks for sharing this resource, it reminds me of the old programming magazines, full of examples and things to learn for a range of skill levels.

I have already found some elegant ways or tricks after a few minutes.

Best wishes

This is great, David. I've been thinking about all those tips and tricks that are often serendipitous to discover. And I was marvelling a few days ago at the ease of use of the "advanced" search and the fact that I have for years been shunning it to scroll through sidebar lists!

Now I'm curious about the missing tiddler "Setup tools and process before uploading public TiddlyWikis"!

Best wishes,
Chris

Thanks!

In a nutshell, that tiddler will say that I have a 'save changes' button in the more menu of the viewtoolbar. I am also using $:/plugins/TWaddle/tw-admin. So my process is, close the sidebar, hide the edit button with tw-admin, if there are tabs, select the desired tab you want open by default, then save changes. Then upload the file.

Blessings, Dave

Hi all

I just updated the 'Documenting TW' file with ten more entries. https://giffmex.org/gifts/documenting.tw.html. See the Recent tab for the newest entries. I won't be doing the rest until well into next week since I will be traveling through Sunday or Monday, and then coming home to meetings, seminary classes prep, actual classes. sermon prep and wedding prep. Blessings,

Mohammad

David,
you may have a look at Utility Plugin https://kookma.github.io/TW-Utility/
Try to press ctrl+alt+A and see how the modal window lets you control many UI elements and have a nice author/reader mode!
