Is there any way to change the background color on these tabs? I'm trying to create a white-on-black palette.
Foreground color is controlled by sidebar-tab-foreground and sidebar-tab-foreground-selected, and the background color of the horizontal tabs is controlled by the other sidebar-tab variables, but none of the palette variables seem to control the background color on the vertical tabs.

Haven't tried it but;

that is inside the More tab $:/core/ui/SideBar/More
...which surrounds its content with

tc-more-sidebar

...so maybe you can do

.tc-more-sidebar .whatever-sets-tab-color-in-general {...}

Hi Nathaniel,

The "problem" are these lines in the default SnowWhite theme.
The SnowWhite theme uses a gradient for the tab buttons,
for which the colors are not exposed in the palette editor,
whereas I think they should be.

The thing is, separating "theme" from the "color-palette"
kinda pretends the two are independent,
whereas they really are not.
SnowWhite wishes to use gradients and Vanilla does not.
The only way to fix this is to have another setting in the palette editor
for whichever theme implements more fancy gradients, like SnowWhite.

Tip: If you switch to the Vanilla theme,
you won't run into this problem and get a proper contrast.

Best wishes,

Tobias,

Thank you! I hadn't realized that the theme would (or even could) make a difference in such things. Switching to Vanilla solved my problem.
