I don't find any settings about tab key .

I also set up a tiddler like below:

config.options.chkInsertTabs = true; /* 預設值 false */ 

but it doesn't work

How to insert tab key in editor ?

You can use the codemirror editor plugin for that task.

Otherwise, the text area is just behaving as default for your browser. 

You can also use my keyboard-snippets plugin and set a hotkey for insert a tab.
