How to see statistics for this group or for TiddlyWiki?

I'm pretty sure there was a post two or three years ago that showed usage by country, either for TiddlyWiki, or for this forum?

Does anyone know where/how to view that?

It may have been for Tiddlyspot? And maybe about this group too? I think I asked about it and Jeremy provided some data. As far as I recall the country profiles were very interesting, not quite what I was expecting.

I tried to find it but failed.

No, not it. No stats by country.

Isn't google analytics embedded in TiddlyWiki.com ? I can see it was there at vsn 5.1.14. Maybe subsequently removed?

I now vaguely remember I looked at an analysis of Tiddlyfox uptake as a possible crude proxy measure by country at the old Mozilla add-ons site. No longer works.

It was a v. high level of Japanese uptake I found striking.

I removed Google Analytics when GDPR came in. I’d been running it since the early days but never really found anything useful from it (it’s fun to watch the real time stuff but it’s also a bit creepy).

There are also some stats from GitHub about the repo (pasted below).
