The snippet below doesn't work. But is something like this possible?

<<tabs '[regexp[{{!!title}}]] -[[currentTiddler]]' '' '$:/state/tabs/1enoch 'tc-vertical'>>

That is, where each tiddler that starts with the title of the current tiddler, except the current tiddler, shows up as a tab?

So if I create tiddlers entitled Favorite dogs 1, Favorite dogs A, Favorite dogs pomeranian, those 3 tiddlers would show up as tabs in the tabs macro in the tiddler Favorite dogs.

David,

I do this quite often and the filter I usually use is:

[prefix<currentTiddler>!title<currentTiddler>]

You might want to throw a sort in there too, since this won't respect any list field for ordering.
