Hi,

I have promised on Twitter to give a user good examples of ON-LINE TiddlyWikis.

What are your best examples that are good to show others?

Suggestions are needed & welcome!

Best wishes,
TT

Well I'm biased but i think mines pretty good.. http://stephenteacher.tiddlyspot.com/

The philosophical one which we discussed recently here was a good example of a slick looking tiddlywiki.

Hello there,

As I posted on the Tiddlywiki Telegram group:

I found the following site very interesting with their use of Tiddlywiki and a ".gov" site at that.

Cheers,

Julio Peña

Ciao Ste

Yeah. Nice site. Not least because it is not apparent it is a TW unless you know it is.

It is actually those kind of TW "sites" I'm interested in pointing to most--sites that are for end purpose which is not itself about TW.

Best wishes

Ciao Ste

I agree. Your site is a nice example of a site for purpose.

I'm less keen on "DON'T PANIC" as a first message :-). I'd panic.

Best wishes

An old book reference too far you think?

In many of the more relaxed civilizations on the Outer Eastern Rim of the Galaxy, the Hitchhiker's Guide has already supplanted the great Encyclopaedia Galactica as the standard repository of all knowledge and wisdom, for though it has many omissions and contains much that is apocryphal, or at least wildly inaccurate, it scores over the older, more pedestrian work in two important respects. First, it is slightly cheaper; and secondly it has the words DON'T PANIC inscribed in large friendly letters on its cover.

Douglas Adams, Hitchhikers Guide to The Galaxy.

Maybe. TBH, though I know & love HGTTG, it slipped my mind when I saw it.

What about?...

 "DO YOU HAVE THE FORMULA?
                              enter"

Just thoughts

Ste

Just for fun :-) Do you have the equation for deriving 42 after several million years?

Hey there Ste and TT,

I know also these guys have been putting out a French site with a Tiddlywiki as its base.
According to them it's still the case: https://www.natura-lien.fr/

Translated with Google translate: "The educational content of this guide was created by L’Université du Nous & L’Université des Colibris, under CC-BY-SA license. Our added value is to offer a more quickly accessible and dynamic format, on the principle of Tiddlywiki."

I've always found their layout interesting. Check it out when you have a chance.

Regards,

Julio

Perthaps somebody with the necessary GitHub skills could volunteer to add these examples to the showcase on tiddlywiki.com?

Many thanks,

Jeremy
