keyboard shortcuts without the buttons

I don't like the button and I think they take too much space. I know I can take them off (one by one) from settings, however, I do want to keep some of the keyboard shortcuts handy. The preview pane, for example, is awesome; so is the link shortcut. How can this be accomplished? I'm sure it's rather simple. Looking into this myself.

Do you mean for example to put a display: none; on CSS .tc-editor-toolbar ? So toolbar is hiden but shorcut still work.
