hi,

I am kind of noobs when dealing with tw5 though I've been in classic since 2008. The transition from classic to new set of codes in tw5 seems amusing enough for me. A bit too amusing I suppose. Therefore when trying to tweak a TW, I would rather seek a fledged TW, and when I found a good one elsewhere, I will try to import the plugins and themes from an empty TW and got a new with added plugins and themes. I think this is certainly the easiest way to get a plugged and themed TW:)

What I am trying to seek is a 'good' set of themes and plugins for TW which is suitable to fit on a mobile screen either a phone or tab. The problem here, I need to tweak more the installed plugins and themes. And this has becoming somewhat difficult enough. For example on which themes or plugins to import or just guessing which is which, then how to discard a code or theme plugin I won't need. Any advice would do.

I am using an android 6 phone and it seems the android html reader won't work but andtidwiki apps does.

Hi Handoko,

Plugins are just tiddlers. So if you delete them, they are gone.

With plugins you have 3 possibilities, to deactivate them:

 - Open the ControlPanel: Plugins: Plugins  tab.
 - There is the > sign. If you click it, You'll get a "disable" button on the right. Save and reload. The plugin will be deactivated but still part of the TW.
 - Click the big plugin area and the the tiddler will be shown. .. Edit .. Delete - Save and it will be gone. --> Do not delete the "core" plugin ;)
 - Start with SafeMode. All plugins will be deactivated except the "core". ... Useful if you messed it up :)

Themes:

I think at the moment, there are no specialized themes for small mobile devices.

Plugins:

The plugins you use always depend on your usecase. IMO it doesn't make sense to import the KaTex plugin, if you don't write LaTex code or import the "jasmine" plugin if you don't do TW tests ...
So this can only be answered, if you tell us about your usecase.

thanks Mario for the tip on checking/unchecking plugins.

for my case, I imported the themes from talkytalky and want to use the
'readonly' theme, but unable to save the TW after. There is not so
much library in get plugins.

Another case is I wish to hide the edit button in tiddlers, however
the sidemenu always showed up instead of showing 'recent' when the TW
is loaded back.

My TW is well read in PC using Andtidwiki, and to correct the html
reader is actually a 'reader' but not a browser.
