Modifying Save Behaviour

New tiddlywiki user here, I'm of the GTD flavor!

So I can code, and I would like to modify the behavior of the save functionality - basically I want to change the filename - long story short I live in a highly regulated world and I need to do this.

Not looking for the code, but can somebody point me in the right direction - I know I can wade through the code and look but was looking for a shortcut..I'm assuming/hoping/guessing it's in a plugin somewhere but I am struggling...

Any help is much appreciated!

Thanks for the info - it was actually the local filename

Birthe - that looks exactly like the area - I'm hoping to make it dynamic (add a date) so I'll play with it and see what I can cook up

Hi Simon,

If you create a tiddler named: $:/config/SaveWikiButton/Filename ... it will be used to create the filename.

The TW <<now>> macro will allow you to create timestamp based names. eg:

<<now "YYYY-0MM-0DD 0hh:0mm:0ss">>
