The Google Translate for that doesn't make sense to me: Tiddler who sleeps takes the story river.

It comes from a saying, "Camarón que duerme, se lo lleva el corriente." Translation is, The shrimp that sleeps will be swept away by the current." English approximate equivalent is "You snooze, you lose." Lazy people will come to ruin as life overtakes them.

I exchanged story river for current, and tiddler for shrimp. Not meant to make sense. Just imitating your Apple a day thing for fun. :-)

I believe "A X a day helps you work rest & play" is a reference to Mars Bar marketing :-).

Its understandable it gets confused with "An apple a day keeps the Doctor away" since the Mars advert was a play on that, I think. :-)

The Spanish shrimp thing is neat: "You snooze, you lose."
