I think the same would hold true for anything technology-related where the choice is between:

 

"leave things the way they are and just use the tool as given to me"

 

vs

 

"check out other approaches, change the tool's settings etc"

 

IMO if Opera were the default browser shipping with Windoze the results would be reversed.
