story and sidebar width

In the current default TW5, the story is of fixed width and the sidebar occupies all the available space to the right. Is the opposite possible, where the sidebar is fixed width and the story expands automatically to the available space to the left? (While keeping the sidebar jumping to top if the space is too narrow, like it does now.)

In the "ControlPanel" "Appearance" "Theme Tweaks" change the value of "Story right", "Story width" and "Tiddler width" to percent.

I have:

Story right 77%

Story width 75%

Tiddler width 100%

For 5.1.9 I've added a new mode whereby the sidebar has a fixed size and the story river fills the remaining space:

The improvement over magev958's technique is that the sidebar can be a fixed width that is independent of the browser window width.
