This is only a "I wonder if this will work till they get the Firefox plugin done" idea, but I've tested it, and oddly enough it seems to work.

If you install chrome and Sun Java on your linux box, you can stick your tiddlywiki in your ~/bin folder, Make the first line "#!/opt/google/chrome/google-chrome", put the tiddlysaver.jar in the same folder, and make said file executable.
type the filename at the command line, and chrome will happily open it and let you edit it. I thought it would overwrite the headerline when I saved, but it doesn't seem to, and it's more convenient than manually opening it in chrome till they get the firefox (which I infinitely prefer) plugin finished.

I kinda like it - when they do get firefox finished, I'll probably just change the header to #!/usr/bin/firefox.
