Say you have a journal about something that happened a day or two ago, and you want to make the journal for that day today.

While the text of entry will read the date, the last date the tiddler was modified will appear as the current date.  How can I fix this so that it appears at the correct date in the timeline?

Is there anything I can do in Javascript using the console to make this happen?

Thank you,
  Andrew J. Leer

At first I was going to be all blasé about it, because as you'll find searching past threads here, Eric answers posts here all the time, usually solving people's problems with complete and well-structured posts.

However I realized that your attitude is the correct one, so thanks for the reminder of what a gift Eric's presence here, and his new role with the project, actually are. The latter also means that people donating as per the bottom of his standard sig are not only helping his financial situation, but furthering the project as a whole.

Also found this in the documentation (didn't see it before, but apparently with a keyboard shortcut you can "edit minor changes")

Control-Enter or Control-Return accepts your changes and switches out of editing mode (use Shift-Control-Enter or Shift-Control-Return to stop the date and time being updated forMinorChanges)

Must be something they added since I last looked at the project.
