[tw] char ‚Ĉ appear after options text

Recently I noticed that the text in the sidebar options button
changed.
Some char like à were added to the text options.
Also I found some tiddler titles that were completely misformed with
these random chars.
After using the export plugin this char is added to the word options?
One char for each exported action is added ?

Anybody got idea's were this comes from?

TW2.6.0 exportplugin 2.9.5 FF3.5.2

I tested with some empty TW and exportplugin only.
The havoc is caused by characters that have a tilde, grave accent,
circumflex accent etc in the tiddler title.
Excisting Tiddlers are not recognised when exported and a new tiddler
is created every export action, from present tiddlers the title is
expanded.
Also the size of the TW starts to expand rapidly into lot's of MB's.

Is this a problem related to my Linux box and lingo settings ?

Hi Okido

Yes I have seen that also. As I work mainly in portuguess (which has
many extra letters with accents) this causes lots of problems. seems
to be related to a question of character sets....to date I have found
no great solution...other than to write bad portugues......tiddler
titles and tags don´t use the ç or ô letters....doesnt seem to be such
a problem in the text....at least it does not make the whole TW
unreadable!!!

Hi Skye,

I tested on windows with ff and it gives the same problems, also with
older tw cores and export plugin.
Also in the tiddler text the problem appears every now and than.

I going to make a small script to delete or replace all the buggy
characters for the time being.
