Folks,

Using the webview of the google forums.

Perhaps I am the only one but I just noticed if rather than copying the URL address in the address bar, for a link to a thread in the Google forums, which provides a link to the whole thread.

On a specific reply you can select the drop down, Link and crtl-c to get a link that not only opens the thread, but opens the specific reply (and any items you have also stared).

So as a result I can share this specific reply on using lists and Else rather than emptyMessage

Regards
Tony

I use this quite a lot in TW-Scripts!
Look at solution and click on responder!

Lots of folk do it.

When you reference a specific post its useful.

But its good you mentioned it.

One additional thing that would be helpful is documentation of how to do more effective searching of GG. Its really not easy to find things using its native search.

A wiki just about getting the best from GG might be worth it since we are lumbered with it. I often think about that.

Best wishes

I have a question about Google Groups: if I open a topic, why can't I mark the answer? This seems to be possible only in topics opened by others.

That is exactly its behaviour. I don't think there is a way around it.

I am aware of people sharing links to posts but not necessarily links to specific replies.

Of lately in my mobile browser has become difficult to reply or star posts. By or my phone?
