So I have a tasks template that uses the draggable example from tiddlywiki.com. I currently create subtasks by going to the tasks tiddler and adding a new task list here.

I have found it helpful to view these tasks in an exapandable/hierarchical list using toc-selective-expandable.

I am trying to find a way to indicate completed tasks within that expandable list. I don't want to remove completed tasks from the list, maybe make them italic or something.

How could I create something like this?

Kat,

If you build your own toc macro you can place what ever you want where ever you want. For example it items tagged done you could list them in a separate list process below. It is great to see you developing the use of hierarchies and that what the TOC macros are about, but they are designed for purpose and you want to stray away from that purpose.

I have searched for previous examples and not found them. I will see what I can put together.

This isn't everything that you are looking for, but I made a similar project that you can see here: https://ooktech.com/TiddlyWiki/CategoryLists/

It has two separate lists for current and finished tasks, I don't remember much about how I made it but I don't think that changing it to have everything on the same list would take too many modifications.

Hopefully that is useful for creating what you want to make.
