EasyEdit Plugin 1.33 works with TiddlyWiki 2.6.0 but does not work with MPTW 2.5.3

I am having issues getting the EasyEdit Plugin work with MPTW.

To start with, the EasyEdit Plugin installation/documentation isn't
clear at all so I experimented on my own and could make it work with
the TiddlyWiki v2.6.0 but haven't been able to make it work with MPTW
2.5.3.

Here is how I installed EasyEdit Plugin v1.3.3 on TiddlyWiki v2.6.0.

1) I imported the plugin from http://visualtw.ouvaton.org/VisualTW.html#EasyEditPlugin
and chose only EasyEdit Plug from the list.
2) I edited the ToolbarCommands Tiddler and added the the field
easyEdit as show below.

|~ViewToolbar|closeTiddler closeOthers +editTiddler easyEdit > fields
syncing permalink references jump|
|~EditToolbar|+saveTiddler -cancelTiddler easyEdit deleteTiddler|

The above steps work well from the core TiddlyWiki v2.6.0 and shows
the write button but the write button does not show up with the same
steps in MPTW.

What am I doing wrong?

Hi,
Nothing wrong, but MPTW works a little bit different. It has some
additional macros installed. I think this was one reason, why you want
it. But on the other hand it works with a toolbar definition inside
the theme. Have a look at the http://sayed.tiddlyspot.com/#MptwTheme
tiddler. The ViewTemplateToolbar section contains

<span macro='toolbar closeTiddler closeOthers editTiddler +easyEdit
deleteTiddler > fields syncing permalink references jump'></span>

I prepared this one for you and I enabled +easyEdit there. the + is
the default command.

You can also create a new mptw at http://tiddlyspot.com and test it,
or you can download, this one. I'll send the pw as pm. If you don't
take it over, I'll delete it.

pw can be changed http://sayed.tiddlyspot.com/controlpanel + info from
the mail.

Now let me try the EncryptedVault and the toggle sidebars plugins..

The toggle sidebars should work out of the box.
But I have no experience with the encryption plugin. But there have
been some descussions lately. I am sure, that someone can help.

The ToggleRightSidebar doesnt work out of the box.I tried importing it
from http://www.TiddlyTools.com/#ToggleRightSidebar but it doesn't
show up in my MPTW 2.5.3.

I guess it would need some tweaking again.

btw. It is no plugin, it is a transclusion. So there is _no_
systemConfig

I did "a little" mptw tweaking, as I started with TW. And I made a 3
part HowTo, what I did and why. May be some things may help, if you
take the time. I tried to make the parts as straight forward as
possible.

If you download the files, it is possible to play with them and test,
what I described, directly while reading. If you destroy something.
download it again.
