Possible Bug - New Journals no longer get Journal tag?

When I create a new journal entry, it no longer receives a "journal" tag. When I go to the control panel to reset this setting, in the tag drop down I type Journal and select it from the dropdown but when I select it, it dissapears and no tag pill appears in its place. This persists after refresh/restart.

Im using node with the latest TW. Anyone else encounter this?

I had this problem wiki wide - meaning this did not work elsewhere either.

solution:

find $:/core/ui/EditTemplate/tags via Advanced Search/Shadows, delete this tiddler. this way the (correct) shadow tiddler will kick in.
