Section Edit lets you edit sections, but doesn't hide them.
Sliders lets you hide tiddlers, but they have to be in separate tiddlers.
Is there any tool or combination of tool that will let you use TW as an outliner? In effect, letting you edit sections and then hiding their content as needed?
Thanks! Mark

imo it's by intention, that _small_ junks of information are kept
inside one tiddler. Tiddlers should be small.

Unfortunately, Important information doesn't always come in small chunks.
If you're writing an outline, it can certainly be broken down into small chunks. I was hoping that there was something like slider/edit hybrid that would allow using TW like an outliner tool.
I've been away for awhile, but I wrote some of the code used in treeview (unless there's been a re-write).
Thanks, Mark

Hi!
Well, here are a few things that you can forget about. I tried Jack's
SectionMacro (1), but it ignored Eric's EditSectionPlugin (2) (it
didn't even display the edit button). I also tried FoldHeadingsPlugin
(1), however, it blocks EditSectionPlugin from opening the panel (the
edit button shows up, but it's function is that of the
FoldHeadingsPlugin). Basically, anything that adds something to the
section title interferes with everything else that adds something to
the section title. For example, I use DcTableOfContentsPlugin (4),
which adds the button to jump to the top, and it interferes (5) with
EditSectionPlugin.
