Hi,

I use tiddlywiki to take notes and summarize important literature for later reference. One problem I have with Tiddlywiki is that whenever I enter chemical compounds by their elemental makeup, e.g. zinc selenide (ZnSe), the abbreviated name is a hyperlink pointing to nothing. It's an annoyance more than anything, but would like to know if there's a way to stop tiddlywiki from doing this.

It seems to occur only if there is a capital letter in the middle of a word, like ZnSe, GaAs, SiO, but not Fe or In

Thanks,

-Andy

This is because they are CamelCase (http://tiddlywiki.com/#CamelCase) which is one way TiddlyWiki turns words into links, if you would like to prevent certain words from becoming links you can prefix the word with a tilde. ZnSe would become ~ZnSe. It will no longer become a link.

Hi Andy,
There is a github issue, where I did post a workaround with 3 possibilities a)b)c).
IMO c) will be for you. see: https://github.com/Jermolene/TiddlyWiki5/issues/1629
