On YouTube "Grammarly" is so much advertised it is ridiculous!

I looked at it. It is NOT particularly exciting. It is a grammar checker. It hooks you free and then costs.
It is aggressive marketing. "Say it enough" and folk, from sheer volume, will try it.

It is illustration of a competitive issue with Open Source like TiddlyWiki that its presence on big platforms like YT is minor, whilst aggressive marketing wins.

It is an unfair world.

It would be interesting to wonder how to offset that in some way?

Perhaps an article to review sites comparing them?

Irritated thoughts

I haven't seen any adds since add-blockers exist. That's Early 2000+something ;)

Just install uBlock Origin for Chrome, MS Edge and Firefox and you are good to go. This also works for mobile.
Videos are not interrupted anymore.

AdBlock Plus and Ghostery are options too.

If you want to use a browser, that has Ghostery built in use: Cliqz browser.
Cliqz shows adds, but it hides your identity and disables tracking.

have fun!

Exactly my thought. Ads?

I use uBlock origin and in addition to some subscription filters I custom block images and divs etc on some often visited sites. Another tool (for Chrome) is "Amino: Live CSS editor" that lets me customize some stuff for often visited sites (e.g I want the date for youtube clips to be highlighted)

Ciao PMario

My point was to OFFSET Grammarly. Blocking just HIDES it.

HOW do we BETTER promote TW?

Because an ad blocker exists does not obviate the issue. Merely hides it.

My OP was about fighting the Grammarly, not hiding it.

Are you comfortable at the kind of advertising Grammarly do? I'm not.

Best wishes
