Folks,

The options available to save ot host Tiddlywiki are numerous. People with knowledge of multiple options find it easy to provide a solution to someone who asks, however it takes time to extract a users requirements from them. As a result I am keen to prepare a set of questions who's answers will help guide a selection.

This is a brainstormed list and I would like new or experience users to suggest questions for people to ask that may help people select a path. I may turn this into an interactive Q&A with recommendations, perhaps even a set of tools to make the chosen method simpler.

Please contribute in this thread. All questions should have a yes/no or limited selection for the answer.

We may say to readers;
  • The more one answers yes to the questions less options may be available
  • There is an opportunity for you to move across platforms and servers so answer the questions according to your current need

The kinds of Questions to ask include the following;
  • Please provide  name for this configuration (We will save your answers)
  • Do you just want to host one wiki or many?
