Can a script be added to the "View Template" to add a button that when clicked can add text at the insertion point?

This package consists of a plugin and set of tiddlers that define a
"QuickEditToolbar" that can be added to the EditTemplate. Each button
provides a different type of editing function (i.e., formatting,
links, colors, etc) which, automatically modifies the current text
selection or adds content at the insertion point (if no selection) in
the editor's text area.

Note that this is for use in the *EditTemplate*. However, you say you
want something to use in the *ViewTemplate*. This is confusing, as
there is normally not an "insertion point" when a tiddler is being
*viewed*. If you really *do* want to add text to a tiddler while
*viewing* it, there's another solution I can offer:

This provides a form (which can be hidden in a slider until needed)
that lets you add a quick text note to the end of the current tiddler
content, without entering full 'edit mode' on the tiddler. Note: you
can customize the HTML form used by the plugin by modifying the
[[QuickNotePluginPanel]] shadow tiddler.
