A while back I setup a wiki for easily writting poetry (on my deskop and iPhone, the later using tiddlyNotes).

If anyone would like a quick and simple to use template for poetry writing in TiddlyWiki feel free to check out the demo: "Poetry-EmptyWiki.html"

I think TiddlyWiki could be (or already is for many who know of it), a great tool for literature writing and perhaps academic writing as well.

Looks nice!

There seems to be (in Firefox) an issue here ...

Clicking on the ICON works fine. Clicking on the LINKS does nothing. Maybe just having the icons would be enough anyway, but best with an "on hover" message to explain what it is?

Best wishes
Josiah

Is that full TW on the Internet?

I'd Tweet its address of it if it were as an example of literary uses for Tiddlywiki.

On LITERARY application, TW is an EXCELLENT choice for writers.

Both for conventional writing but also for literary experiments.

I'd would be great if a few of the people using it for writing would go a bit more public :-).

Best
Josiah

Hey Josiah,

Both of those links are directed to the tiddler's title as a "scroll to the top" function since the Details and Inspiration sections can get pretty big. I realize now that is not very intuitive. I have posted the edited version without these links here:

Hey J,

Sure here is the hosted version's link: http://tiddlywiki-poetry-template-by-arcadia.bitballoon.com/

Also, I had quite a lot of trouble trying to host the wiki on Dropbox and TiddlySpot (following the directions in the main TiddlyWiki site). Neither worked. So I settled for the free site hosting space BitBalloon. As long as you want to share a wiki without actually editing it in the cloud, free website hosting services like this one seem to be a good way to make a TiddlyWiki publicly accessible.

Ciao Eneko

I agree. I also think that some TiddlyWiki also present its programming capabilities in a very elegant way. For pure design aesthetics there is Tobias Beer's beautiful TW--function & design very well matched.
