Announcing TiddlyWiki Playground

Folks,

I developed a simple edition of TiddlyWiki and Hosted in on GitHub. You can use it there without download.

• I want to share it with you and I would love any feedback for requests either in this thread or here
• I am already finding it useful. Please read the warnings contained therein.
• Tryout those plugins/macros you wondered about, use if to research of hack tiddlywiki with no file or server management needed.

What is it for?

• It is an online playground for testing macros and plugins, with the advantage of active local storage.
• No need to download, and save just use in the browser.
• Direct Access to a set of published Plugin libraries.
• Install a plugin and reload (without saving) and test.
• Set a user ID from the side bar, to track edits by user name

Standard Edition TiddlyWiki Playground

I plan to update it with a few changes and thought I would seek feedback first.

New version plans;

• Disable the dirty save indicator, so you can navigate away.
• Provide easy access to clearing local storage and starting afresh
• Provide the Save Buttons mentioned in the

  Welcome to the TiddlyWiki Playground message

• Apply your feedback

• Additional Plugin 

  Libraries?

Futures

• An additional Library containing test data you can use and quote when requesting community support
• In wiki Search and links to content on tiddlywiki.com
• A similar version for learning tiddlywiki
• A Similar version for the pre-release exists but not launched, I will need to update regularly with pre-release changes.
• A package to make any wiki a playground wiki.

Do I understand it right; This is a vanilla TW hosted on gh with the Browser storage plugin. Other than this, it is only some minor tweaks like extra sidebar tab, some activated page controls etc. Right? I'm not saying this in any diminishing way, I'm asking to understand. It is a super idea to have a site like this.

BTW, it may be worth comparing things to Danielos NoteSelf.

You do understand right. It also has three additional plugin libraries that you can install and reload. I am planning to suppress the normal save process with a set of buttons for download instead (will soon be in controlPanel Saving) see

BTW, it may be worth comparing things to Danielos NoteSelf.

Noteself can do something similar but I get more control, and my own workflows, using the local storage plugin instead. This is also saved on GitHub by me, Since noteself can maintain versions etc... there may be more advanced needs satisfied with it.

There is also a pre-release version, https://anthonymuscio.github.io/empty-pre-release.html but I hope to have both generated as part of tiddlywiki.com for currency and universal use.

TiddlyHavoc or not, that is the question! Be careful the catastrophe plugin can be installed without us knowing, It is invisible ;-)

I testet some downloads i had yesterday (couldn't remember, what ever it was), now I know!!

Imagine this group, when somebody write, i testet this and that, I am so happy, i did it in tony's wiki. (Just the sound of it)
