To start with which browser are you using? which version?
Firefox with the tiddlyFox plugin works pretty well.
Try that and provide more information.

TiddlyWiki, v2.5.2
Firefox, v16.0.2
Windows XP
It worked on March 26 of this year.
I'll look at tiddlyFox if this can't be solved this without it

i am pretty sure that after FF 15 you need to use tiddlyfox the only other option is to edit your prefs.js file to include your TW file as a trusted source. i believe that there is a drawback or two associated with this such as an entry needed for each TW that you use or are ever going to use.
