Sanitizing input text for titles

I'm trying to create tiddlers using edit text widgets and action createtiddler widgets based on bunch of text inputs as a tiddler title, and some of the texts contain symbols like | [ ] { } ", as these symbols are not recommended to be used in tiddler titles, is there any way to automatically replace unwanted symbols with compatible ones like ｜［］｛｝＂ ?
