Thank you both. Haven't had a chance to try out Wolfgangs suggestion
yet, but will soon.
Eric; that was very fascinating, and I agree it does what I asked for
but it turns out it is not a possible solution for my context - partly
because it is not possible to use the <part> feature as you commented.
The context I intend to use it for is as follows - and I dare bringing
it up here in spite of it being very intricate - only because it
circles around other plugins delveloped by the very you Eric ;-)
(But, if it is too intricate, then just never mind and thank you
anyway)
So;
I'm an avid MonkeyGTD (mGTD) user. Briefly, this is a TW "application"
to handle to-do lists, to be more productive. One key concept in the
underlying philosophy is to not be exposed to irrelevant information,
so these to-do lists are cleverly designed. However, the very lists
themselves are IMO distracting and I want to be presented with only
one single item at a time from the (mGTD generated) to-do lists. (I
understand this all sounds weird to a non GTD'er... but that's how it
is). So, after countless hours of thinking and some pathetic layman
hacking, I've come in contact with Eric's fantastic(!)
QuoteOfTheDayPlugin (QOTD) which presents one thing at a time from a
list of items (quotations).
Soooo... I'm hoping to apply QOTD to a list of tiddlers(!) i.e
embedding tiddlers into a QOTD list. Obviously I'll have to be able to
edit and manipulate the contents of the individually presented
tiddlers.
There are some surrounding problems to be solved too, e.g how to
generate the actual QOTD-lists etc. Working on that too.
Thank you!
