I am recreating an old blog of a relative's in TW and wanted to keep the original creation dates of the articles.  Is it possible to set the created and modified fields?

I think one way I can do it is to export the file as a wikifolder, then manually set the dates, then rebuild as a single file wiki.

Thanks.

Also I thought I remembered a setting to disable updating the modified stamp but I can't seem to find it now. Is there such a setting?

In the $:/ControlPanel, "Appearance", "Toolbars", "Page Toolbar", there is a checkbox for "timestamps".

Select that checkbox to add the "timestamps" (stopwatch) icon to the sidebar buttons.
Once added to the sidebar, you can then toggle the stopwatch to pause/resume updates to timestamps.

note: Be sure to change the setting BEFORE you edit a tiddler.  Once you are in "edit mode", toggling the setting doesn't apply to that tiddler.

Thanks Eric - with that setting disabled, I can set the "modified" field using the normal field editor.
