Of probable interest for some, a good review from an individual doing some semi-thorough in-practice testing for cloud synching alternatives. Unfortunately the final result is a bit depressing IMO.

Hi Mat

I've been using my own OwnCloud for several years now.

 It has replaced dropbox for me and I'm very happy with it. 

Never had a glitch in perfomance. 

I'm still happily using version 3. 

I think the current stable version is version 6.

My experience have taught me that the only that works fine is dropbox.
