Is there a way to make the sorttable.js script work in a static HTML Tiddlywiki exported file?

The script works fine in the dynamic TiddlyWiki when set up as described in these posts:

But it does not function when exported to static HTML. The tiddler where the script is stored is rendered between <pre></pre> tages, making it ineffective. (It is stored as type: application/javascript; module-type: widget, and does not have a tag). I would prefer it as an internal file, but if that's not possible, I will leave it be.

Ciao kosmo

Regarding use of sorttable.js in TW. It works great for wikis where the tables you want sorted are viewable in the story river on opening the wiki.

But for cases where you open (or close an open table and then want to view it again) it is not workable because you have to reload the wiki.

SO, its great for use cases where all you want is to show tables immediately on start. For other cases, TW scripting will be more appropriate.

FYI I WILL use it for certain cases of large tables. There having it really simplifies what you need to enter.

Just a comment
