TiddlySaver.jar freezes on save using Chrome on Ubuntu

What the subject says. I try to save and the tab freezes. Any idea
what could be going on? I tried with the latest version from the
TiddlyWiki download page.

java version "1.6.0_20"
OpenJDK Runtime Environment (IcedTea6 1.9.10)
(6b20-1.9.10-0ubuntu1~10.10.3)
OpenJDK Server VM (build 19.0-b09, mixed mode)

Any suggestions?

My advice after many tries, it's just not gonna work man.  Wait for TW5 and cross your fingers.

There is a good alternative for TW+Chrome on linux and osx:

TWS
(needs node.js)
https://github.com/PoulStaugaard/TWS

The combination TW+Chromium+linux works fine here this way.
