Hello All

I am writing something about innovation and accidents for an article at Manchester Business School, and want to collect a story from TiddlyLand.

I'm looking for something that points to the open source innovation and the benefits that this environment has in facilitating chance discussions sparking new ideas.
Any innovations, big or small are what I am after, or any reflections on being in a community or part of a company like BT.

I'd like to link to TW as a case to show a creative environment and thriving online community

contact me off line if you wish

best wishes

Alex

Hi Alex

Not sure this is what you are looking for - last year I made a simple
request for a way to have a simple form calculate, and input the
current time....as a way of reating time determined titles for the new
tiddler........Eric not only answered...but took my original simple
request and turned it into a new plugin...which I now use
frequentlu....the QuickNote plugin.

So, its not exactly innovation by acident...but it does show how the
interactivity, openness and collaboration of this forum results in new
products/innovation.

If this suits your study...maybe Eric has the time to fill in more
details...I just made a imple request for a bit of code!!!

Thanks
Skye

This is exactly the kind of thing I'm after.
Skye, if I'm not mistaken you work in Brazil in the rainforest?
