Hello,

I'm brand new to this universe and got in through Stroll.

I am in the process of learning how to use the basic features and customising the Wiki to my liking.

I've created a page using the Stroll link and I can see that there's a bunch of ShadowTiddlers which from what I understand are the core of the app and that I should not touch them.

The thing is that those Tiddlers are all tagged with regular text (not the ones that start with $:/ ) such as ; batchmanipulator, blinks, refs, stroll, titleview, etc.

Can I (and should I) delet those tags ? Or do they have a purpose within the app and removing them would corrupt it ?

Thanks !

I think you are looking at the small tagpills. Try clicking on them and  you will see a dropdown showing you the tiddlers with that tag. They are all tiddlers used in Stroll. The tags are used for categorising them. Making them easier to find if someone wants to export parts of it of just finding relevant tiddlers to  to edit something.

Hi Hany

You can remove those non-$:/ tags. They have two functions:

1. To help the plugin creators to remember which tiddlers are parts of which plugins
2. To help you quickly download Stroll to your own file if needed.

They will not affect the functioning of Stroll in any way if you remove the tags.
