I have realised that encryption itself is a giveaway of hiding some secret. And while I can use Eric's password plugin I am thinking it would be better if I could just devise a clever way of hiding my tiddlers away.
So is there a way to just hide my tiddlers in a clever way, tuck them away and then bring them up only after using a couple of secret steps? I don't really need encryption. All I need is to write my secret thoughts down, like a diary, and then hide it away from others who might borrow my laptop.I am pretty sure someone out of you gentlemen can come up with a really clever trick for this. I'd be grateful if you suggest some ideas.

I'm not sure if hiding tiddlers does keep any secret. Most operating
systems have built in search functions with there file browsers. So if
you do a
simple search everyone will find everything within a html file. So imo
hiding tiddlers inside TW is just waste of time.

* which operating system do you use?

* If you just want an unecrypted TW, which should be private, just put
it on a USB stick and take the stick with you.

* If you do have a unix like system, you could easily encrypt your
home directory, which will keep your /home stuff away from everyone
else.

* For a windows like system you can use eg. TrueCrypt[1] or other open
source SW that can provide transparent _multi platform_ encryption.
rohos [2] may be an option too

have fun!
