my TW: Version 5.1.11

my verdict: VERY USEFUL.

my usage: (1) Styling complex tiddlers. (2) Using CKEDITOR's ability to convert both Text and Word documents into basic HTML.

benefits: Productivity in preparing tiddler content.

bugs?: The editor has its own filetype "text/x-htmlp", good. BUT it also takes over "text/html". Is that the intended behavior?

suggestion: provide a link in the documentation to the configuration options for CKEditor, which are rich.

Hi Josiah,

My primary use of the visualeditor plugin is to add highlight etc to part of webpages that I clip using tiddlyclip. These clips are html and have type text/html.

If you do not want to use the visualeditor for this type, it is configurable via the tiddler:
 

$:/config/EditorTypeMappings/text/html

putting 'text' as the contents of this tiddler restores the default behavior.

Thanks for the documentation suggestion, I will probably add a link when I next update the docs, but I have a large number of projects, so it may be some time before it is done.
