How can I link an object inside the same tiddler?

What I have in mind is making a list in the beginning of a tiddler that will act as a table of contents for that tiddler. So when I press a link there I will be transfered to the appropriate place inside the tiddler.

I guess, generally, this question can be stated as "how can I create a global placeholder so a link can transfer me to that position".

Thanks,
Adam

This is basically the same thing as the recent topic:

How to create Table of Contents inside a tiddler?

Good luck!

Mark,

I just found out about it and I am currently writing a reply there. This is a tremendous coincidence that two posts of the same contents were created so recently together. Thank you very much for pointing it out though.

Cheers,

Adam,

You say,

This is a tremendous coincidence that two posts of the same contents were created so recently together

But actually it is surprisingly common, because we are all on a shared journey to develop ways to do things in TiddlyWiki, and until a clear answer exists many of us a searching for the same answer.

You especially see it happen after new features are in a new release. The copy-to-clipboard macro I recent responded with is an example happening now.

Thanks Tony!

Your response is a very optimistic way of seeing this.

Adam,

Not at all, ie: it is not optimistic, I have observed it.

Perhaps it makes you optimistic that this community may be like this?

Yes exactly!

The first reason I check when I try to find a new piece of software to use is whether it is open source. Being open source mainly has to do with the community, so the better the community the more comfortable I am when using the software.

Yes,

Another advantage of open source, especially tiddlywiki, because of the degree of combustibility NAH Compatibility,  is "even if you paid someone to build a solution with it" you are not tied to them because you can always get help elsewhere or do it yourself. There is no proprietary lock out. This reduced the time and cost of change or fixes.

You are not tied especially to a company that may stop the development and leave you with a never to be updated piece of software. I also like to try and configure the code myself sometimes for minor tweaks. I don't feel free using a proprietary software as I don't think I can do anything than maybe beg for features and hope that there is not malware inside in the form of ads or data collecting tools or who knows what else...
