New to TW. I am runing version 5.19

Autosave is on.

I am running Debian and Apache.

I put empty.html in my /var/www directory.

run TW by opening Google Chrome browser and opening localserver/empty.html in the URL.

When I try to close the tab, I get:

> You have unsaved changes in TiddlyWiki
> Are you sure you want to leave?

It seems that, no matter what I do, I lose everything I have done.

Hi Walter

It's not possible for TiddlyWiki to save changes back to an ordinary web server. Web servers like Apache simply don't provide an API for HTML files to save changes.

Best wishes

Jeremy.
